Biographies
You can browse our Destiny card catalog to see what biographies are in our collection. When you are searching the Destiny card catalog, make sure you search for the person by Last Name, First Name (e.g. Einstein, Albert) as a "subject" search. If we have any books on the person you want to read about, Destiny will list them for you. You need to make sure the reading level is appropriate for you. If we do not have any titles on the person you want to read about, please visit the public library.
If the biography does not give you all the information that you need for your assignment, please continue research using the database resources on the Destiny Home page. A description of the databases is listed below in the Biome section. In addition, the Reference collection of the library includes many biographical encyclopedias. Do not use Wikipedia or Google. If you want to search the Internet, please use Destiny's Web Path Express, the educational search engine linked on the left menu of the Destiny catalog page.
